Biography

Dr. Park earned his bachelor's degree in cell biology from the University of Kansas, and he earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.  He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center.  Dr. Park has been a surgeon in the Topeka and Shawnee Mission areas since 2002.  He is board-certified in general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

I don't believe dr parks really listened to what I had to say. I came in for a surgical consult and ended up leaving after having a procedure I don't think will solve my issue

I loved that Dr. Parks sat down with with and showed what he would be doing on his end for my surgery and then did some follow up with other colleagues to figure what it the best approach to take on my surgery. Then he personally called me and explained the risk and gave me the choice on how I wanted to proceed. I can not express how much it meant to me that Dr. Parks called and explained everything instead of a nurse.
