LMH Health is accredited by The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies U.S. hospitals and other health care organizations. This accreditation means that LMH meets rigorous national standards for quality and patient safety. The Joint Commission regularly reviews and evaluates our facility and staff to ensure ongoing compliance.
You can review a summary of our accreditation program and advanced certifications on The Joint Commission’s website.

If you have concerns about the safety or quality of care provided at LMH Health, contact the LMH Patient Safety Officer at 785-505-3151 or submit a report through The Joint Commission website.

Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers & Systems (HCAHPS®)

HCAHPS is a survey that measures how patients feel about the care they received at LMH Health. Because all participating hospitals use the same survey, you can compare patient satisfaction across the country on the Care Compare website.

We use our HCAHPS survey results to evaluate and improve the quality of care. Patient satisfaction, also called patient experience, is shaped by factors including:

  • Communication with nurses
  • Communication with doctors
  • Responsiveness of hospital staff
  • Communication about medicines
  • Discharge information
  • Care transition
  • Hospital cleanliness and quietness
