Biography

Holly Dunoon is a board certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who completed her master's degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She earned her bachelor's in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2007 and also earned a bachelor's degree in French and Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2005. Prior to earning her master's degree, Holly worked as a nurse at the University of Kansas Medical Center caring for postpartum women, newborns and women with high-risk pregnancies.

Holly was great! I was pretty nervous to discuss replacing my IUD as the insertion experience 8 years ago was less than ideal and Holly listened to my concerns about pain and anxiety management and explained all the options to me. I like that she emphasized I had autonomy over the procedure and should communicate with providers if I no longer wanted to replace my IUD due to pain. The discussion was already miles better than my previous IUD care.

Holly is amazing! She is always providing active listening and understanding of concerns. She provides information that is beneficial and helpful for myself as the patient. She pays close attention to concerns and provides the least restrictive care first.
