Our volunteers provide a special human touch that eases the stress for patients and families that are going through difficult times. Volunteers also have the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and make a difference in our community.

Requirements to Volunteer inside the hospital:
- At least 14 years old
- Requires a long-term commitment of at least 40 hours of service, helping 3-4 hours per week
- Required tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Required proof of flu vaccine (October through April)
- Documentation of immunizations (including COVID, Hepatitis B, MMR, Tdap, and Varicella)
- Required background check--costs $15 (only required for volunteers age 18 or older)
Community Volunteer Opportunity: Kindness Kits
LMH Health Volunteer Services is seeking individual or group volunteers to collect supplies and assemble patient kindness kits. This volunteer opportunity is done off-site and hours can be verified through the LMH Health Volunteer Services office. Learn more.
