New Providers in a variety of specialties join LMH Health in 2024

LMH Health has hired or contracted with 36 new physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and other clinicians to become part of our Medical Staff in 2024. We’d like to introduce you to nine of these healthcare providers who have joined LMH-owned practices.

Savannah Ericksen, DO: Dr. Ericksen is a family medicine physician who joined the team at LMH Health – 6th and Maine in September. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and her medical degree from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Dr. Ericksen is a captain in the Army National Guard and former Army Combat Flight Medic.

Desiree Gleason, DO: Dr. Gleason is an internal medicine physician who joined LMH Health – 6th and Folks Road in August. She earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University – Commerce and her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Gleason completed an internal medicine residency at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital.

Ryan Hokesema, PA: Ryan Hokesema joined the LMH Health Hospitalist group in May. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Healthcare Administration and Health Information Management from the University of Central Florida and an MMS in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Hokesema previously served as a Combat Medic for the Army.

Hemil Maniar, MD: Orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Hemil Maniar joined Lawrence Spine Care in March. He completed his orthopedic training in India before moving to the United States to complete two fellowships, specializing in orthopedic spine surgery at Northwestern University and orthopedic trauma surgery at the University of Louisville. Dr. Maniar relocated to Lawrence after working at a busy Level I hospital in Central Pennsylvania.

Cole McGregor, MD: Dr. McGregor joined OrthoKansas as a foot and ankle specialist in September. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his medical degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. McGregor completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and a clinical fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center-Campbell Clinic in Memphis.

Joy-Ann Tabanor-Gayle, MD: Rheumatologist Dr. Joy-Ann Tabanor Gayle joined LMH Health Primary Care – 6th and Folks Road in January. She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, where she was honored as valedictorian of her graduating class. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey, where she served as chief resident for the program, and completed her rheumatology fellowship at the University of Connecticut.

Ryan Xiao, MD: Dr. Xiao joined Dr. Neal Lintecum in September as a hand and upper extremity specialist. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Xiao completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Harvard Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Jordan Willis, MD: Dr. Willis joined the OrthoKansas clinic at Newman Regional Health in September, providing orthopedic care to Lyon County and the surrounding area. He earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his medical degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Willis completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic sports surgery at Mississippi Sports Medicine in Jackson and Tulane University in New Orleans.

Alex Winkler, MD: LMH Health Primary Care – Tonganoxie welcomed Dr. Winkler to the team in September. He began his medical career as a medical assistant and record clerk at Reed Internal Medicine, now known as LMH Health Primary Care – 6th and Maine, while pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
