LMH Health welcomes Desiree Gleason, DO
LMH Health welcomes internal medicine physician Dr. Desiree Gleason to the team. She is board-certified in internal medicine and is located at LMH Health Primary Care – 6th and Folks Road.

“I grew up in a small town where our primary care doctor was the physician for my family and my extended family. It really felt like they were a part of the family and it brings me great joy to be a part of people’s families as their primary care physician,” she said.
Dr. Gleason began her career with Colorado Permanente Medical Group in hospital medicine before transitioning to care for patients in a primary care clinic.
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Gleason cares for patients from age 18 through the end of life. It’s important to her that patients understand she’s more than just their doctor.
“It's very important that you give me feedback on our care plan and let me know what works for you and what doesn't. If a proposed plan doesn't fit with your lifestyle or isn’t something that you see as sustainable, then it's not useful and we need to pivot to a different option,” she said. “At our first appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know each other so that I can support you in your goals. We are a team from day one.”
Dr. Gleason earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University – Commerce and her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital.
