Summer reading with LMH Health and the Lawrence Public Library

LMH Health is partnering with the Lawrence Public Library on their Summer Reading Program and we hope you will join us for the fun!

First up is the Story Stroll, so get your hiking shoes ready. Anytime during the month of June, take a stroll on the paths of the Baker Wetlands and read the children’s book, Over and Under the Pond by Kate Messner and Christopher Silas Neal. After you read the pages, be sure to try the physical activity ideas from LMH Health. Keep hiking with us in July as this activity moves to Burroughs Creek Trail with a new story, Nerdy Babies: Ocean by Emmy Kastner and new physical activities to try.

Also check out Stuffy Storytime and Clinic on June 20 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., where you and your best-loved stuffed animal can hear stories from Lynley Holman, MD, FACOG. After the stories, the fun continues as your stuffed animal can receive a check-up from your friends at LMH Health.
