Lawrence Memorial Hospital to host preview of cancer documentary

Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies is "both a riveting historical documentary and an engrossing and intimate film that focuses on current patients". This PBS presentation premieres on KTWU March 30, at 8pm.

BUT you don't have to wait! Lawrence Memorial Hospital and KTWU are offering a SPECIAL PREVIEW SCREENING complete with exhibitors and specialists at LMH on Saturday, March 21 from 2-4pm. Join us for a one-hour preview screening and the opportunity to visit with local support organizations! This program is FREE and open to the public!

The three-part, six-hour documentary officially premiers on PBS in two-hour segments between March 30 and April 1,  KTWU spokesperson Kevin Goodman said. The screening at Lawrence Memorial Hospital will be an hour-long condensed version of the documentary.
