LMH Health Cancer Center renovations
The need for cancer care in our community continues to increase year over year. The LMH Health Cancer Center has grown to provide more than 19,000 patient encounters per year, while continuing to operate in the same space where we provided care for 2,400 patients in 2001.
Beginning in June 2024, we will begin much-needed renovations to the LMH Health Cancer Center to enhance our space and greatly expand our square footage. Our improvements will include:
- More treatment and exam rooms
- Larger waiting room with a respite area for families
- Two laboratory areas
- Patient education and consultation rooms
- Natural lighting for patient and family comfort
What you need to know now
Beginning November 4, the Cancer Center and treatment services will relocate to the second floor of the Anderson Health Plaza, located on the LMH Health Main Campus. More information and driving directions
- When you arrive, enter the Main Campus through the Arkansas Street entrance.
- Registration and the oncology lab will be located on the main floor, just to the right of the LMH Health Volunteer office. Check in with our staff and wait to have your blood draw (if necessary).
- Exit registration, turn left and use the silver elevators to make your way to our temporary space on the second floor.
What about parking?
Patient and visitor parking will be impacted by construction at the Main Campus. Please allow yourself ample time before your appointment to park and make your way to our temporary location.
Free valet parking and wheelchair transportation are available from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pull up to the circle drive at the Arkansas Street entrance of the Main Campus. Our valet team will park your car when you arrive and retrieve it following your appointment.
