Cardiac Catheterization Lab

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab ("cath lab") at LMH Health offers the latest in technology and a highly trained team of interventional cardiologists and cardiac specialists. Our cardiologists and staff routinely perform hundreds of interventional cardiology procedures that locate and repair blockages in patient arteries and vessels.

Advanced cardiac imaging technology in the cath lab includes an intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). To better see the severity of a blocked artery, our cardiologists use the IVUS via a catheter placed inside the blood vessel. The IVUS offers higher image resolution and lower radiation for both patient and staff.

The cath lab is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a team of experienced technologists, nurses and interventional cardiologists.
