Lawrence Endocrinology
Endocrine disorders like diabetes and thyroid conditions are on the rise. Without proper care and treatment, these diseases can lead to serious complications, such as heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, blindness and amputation. Fortunately, the risks are significantly lowered with optimal control of the disease, and LMH Health offers highly specialized endocrinology care to meet the growing need in our community.
Common endocrine disorders include:
- Diabetes
- Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid)
- Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid)
- Thyroid nodules
- Thyroid cancer
- Osteoporosis
- Low testosterone
- Pituitary tumors and pituitary disorders
- Adrenal gland issues, such as Addison’s disease and Cushing’s syndrome (a.k.a. hypercortisolism)
At LMH Health, our endocrinologists provide individualized care and education for every patient. Our goal is to empower patients with knowledge on managing endocrine disorders in daily life, as well as the consequences of non-compliance with prescribed medications and diet-related regimens.
