Designed specifically for new parents or other caregivers of infants, this class does not come with a certification card, but it does prepare participants with the latest information regarding injury prevention.
Many parents, especially those who are pregnant, may prefer this class, which instructs in infant CPR but does not require the rescuer to get down on the floor and practice adult CPR (adult CPR is not covered in this course).
The topics that will be covered include: infant CPR, choking procedures, child passenger safety and home safety (includes water heaters, fire and carbon monoxide detectors, home safety devices and safe sleep for babies).
